The Role:
The Setup Assembler will be responsible for assembling coils/base cylinders using aluminum hoops, steel hoops, jigs, wooden discs metal tubes, or Mandrels, disassembling/stripping coils. Excellent attitude towards safety protocols and great attendance record is a requirement.

Your Tasks:
Safety:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles. Participate in regular housekeeping activities to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste materials by transporting them to designated waste disposal sites.
uality:
- Ensure consistent and reliable production processes by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.
- Report any quality issues or defects to the supervisor immediately. Record (foresight, SAP, traveler) production activities (std. and actual hrs., production#, unit# etc.) accurately as per company's requirements
Maintenance:
- Perform routine and preventive upkeeps (including cleaning) and inspections of dept. equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or needed repairs to the supervisor immediately.
- Ensure proper tools management (storage, maintenance, etc.). Maintain an accurate inventory of tools.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Assembling coils/base cylinders using aluminum hoops, steel hoops, jigs, wooden discs metal tubes, or Mandrels, disassembling/stripping coils
- Manufacturing various ties, installing horizontal ties.
- Stamp coils with correct production / unit number.
- Use measuring equipment, hand tools, air tools and power tools.
- Check and read drawings, blueprints and other manufacturing documents. Familiarity with specific tolerances.
- Monitor assigned production orders and make workflow adjustments to maintain efficiency.
- Replenish material as needed for continuous production. Report material shortage to Supervisor immediately.
- Operate various Powered Industrial Trucks, cranes, scissor lifts and work at heights.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or his designate.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- An outstanding safety and quality conscious approach while performing work duties. Excellent attendance.
- Proficient in English with demonstrated fluency in reading, writing, and speaking. Able to work on a 3-shift rotation and cover other shifts as required.
