Your primary responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Manager, Accounting Services Department and the designated Partner Preparation and review of GST/QST and DAS remittances Initial set up and maintenance of client's payroll, deductions at source, CNESST etc. Preparation of T4's and Releve 1 summaries Correspondence with various government authorities Responsible for maintaining the books and records for a group of clients Setting up clients on Quickbooks Online and maintaining bookkeeping 3 in office days / 2 remote

A successful candidate will have:

Post-secondary education (i.e. DEC, DCS) with at least 3 years' experience in accounting; preferably in an accounting firm. Excellent accounting skills and knowledge. QuickBooks Online certification with extensive experience (PRO) Solid knowledge of Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec online credentials; knowledge of various online banking and payroll client platforms (ADP, Ceridian, PEOCanada, Nethris) is a major asset Bilingual in French and English. Knowledge of sales taxes and of payroll/deductions at source. Ability to prioritize with flexibility to manage workload demands, deadlines and multiple tasks, as required, and work with minimum supervision. You have a good team spirit and work ethic Strong communication skills
