Accounting Program Evaluator

Job Responsibility:

The Program Evaluator will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Accounting related programs.
PTIB Standards:
Credential Requirement:
- Relevant credential plus a minimum of 2 years of occupational experience in career occupations relevant to the program of instruction
- No credential but a minimum of 10 years of occupational experience in a career relevant to the program of instruction
Special Credential Needed (Certification or License):
- Canadian CA, CGA, CPA designation is beneficial
Specific Qualifications Needed
Educational Background:
- Accredited Accounting diploma program from a recognized institution or Bachelor Degree in Accounting
Professional Experience:
- 2-5 years of teaching experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, demonstrating competency in financial management and reporting.
- Senior level work experience in a business environment, minimum five years.
- 5-10 years of experience as Financial Analyst,/Controller/ financial management/ reporting
Skills and Competencies:
- A good working knowledge of computer applications competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and/or the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
- Knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, accounting software and Computer Applications for Accounting,Income Tax I (Personal Taxation), Intermediate Accounting II, Intermediate Managerial Accounting
- Demonstrates valuing diversity and intercultural competence
- Previous curriculum and program development experience is considered an asset.
- Capable of working independently as well as being part of a team.
- Being able to work under pressure/fast-paced environment and deliver on scheduled deadlines.
- Preferable but not mandatory to have knowledge of Crypto Accounting and Taxation, Real Estate Taxation, Real Estate Accounting, Business Applications
- Good Time management and communication skills
Compensation:
- This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $300 Canadian per project
