Corporate Legal Counsel Vaughan Ontario (Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu)

Join an expanding Legal team as Corporate Legal Counsel located in Vaughan, Ontario. Support contract management and provide legal assistance across corporate and operational matters.
This role is ideal for a lawyer with 1-3 years of post-call experience. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to manage legal risks, support compliance initiatives, and enable business functions. The position is a one-year fixed-term contract, focusing on contract negotiation and corporate governance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate various commercial agreements
- Provide legal guidance on corporate matters
- Conduct legal research and prepare internal materials
- Assist with corporate governance and record maintenance
- Manage litigation and regulatory issues as needed
Requirements
- Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) is required
- Member in good standing with Ontario Law Society preferred
- 1-3 years relevant legal experience required
- Solid research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
