Heavy Equipment Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our client's team and maintain industrial mobile equipment through preventive maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on lift trucks and heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot and maintain diesel-powered lift trucks, loaders, and heavy equipment
- Complete assigned work safely and efficiently
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Red Seal 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician OR 310T Truck & Coach Technician
- Strong experience with diesel lift trucks and heavy equipment
- Experience with loaders and industrial mobile equipment
- Mi-Jack Gantry Crane experience is an asset
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and welding is an asset
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing requirements
