SUMMARY

A private family located in Mercier, Quebec, is seeking an experienced, organized, and self-motivated Housekeeper to oversee the daily maintenance and care of a private residence, and occasionally a secondary residence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of housekeeping , ensuring the home remains immaculate, well-organized, and efficiently maintained. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, demonstrates discretion and professionalism, and takes pride in delivering the highest standards of service within a private household.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a dedicated private service professional.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

House Cleaning

• Perform the complete daily and weekly cleaning of the residence to the highest standards.
  
• Dust and clean bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and all living areas.
  
• Clean floors, delicate surfaces, interior windows, and other areas throughout the residence.
  
• Perform seasonal deep cleaning and thorough cleaning projects as required.
  
• Ensure the residence remains clean, welcoming, and impeccably organized at all times.
  

Laundry & Wardrobe Care

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing, linens, and household laundry.
  
• Iron and steam garments as required.
  
• Properly care for delicate fabrics and garments requiring special attention.
  
• Organize wardrobes and maintain storage areas in excellent order.
  

Household Organization

• Maintain well-organized kitchen cabinets, pantry, refrigerators, and storage areas.
  
• Monitor household supplies and advise when replenishment is required.
  
• Run light household errands as needed.
  
• Prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms prior to visitors' arrival.
  
• Assist with event setup when required.
  
• Coordinate with various household service providers and contractors.
  

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Significant experience as a Housekeeper , Household Assistant, or in the maintenance of luxury private residences.
  
• Excellent knowledge of residential housekeeping techniques and best practices.
  
• Experience caring for fine garments, linens, and laundry.
  
• Must be fluent in either French or English.
  
• Exceptional organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
  
• Demonstrates discretion, integrity, and the highest level of professionalism.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Valid driver's licence.
  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Full-time, permanent position.
  
• Daytime schedule, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (flexibility required).
