Job Responsibility:
Reporting into the Technology Business Management team, you will be:
Monitoring, tracking and analyzing IT budget allocations, expenditures, and forecasts. You will be looked to, to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing IT investments and cost savings.
- Support Technology leaders to onboard and offboard resources. This includes a significant focus on system access and will be accomplished while working with a Coop student who you will train and coach to support these activities.
- The above will also include working with IT staffing vendors to onboard and offboard external resources. Monitoring, analysis and reporting of the TS external labour force will lead to efficient utilization for this section of the overall TS plan.
- Executing processes leading to the preparation of the IT budget and quarterly forecast. This includes analysis and reporting of IT hardware, software, and labour.
- Tracking and reporting of resource vacancies and hiring activities.
What to expect
- University degree in Business and or Finance and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Enrolled in or working towards a professional accounting designation (CPA) considered an asset
- Strong analytical and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite, including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience working in an IT environment is considered an asset
What you bring
- University degree in Business and or Finance and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Previous experience working in a technology solution environment is an asset
- Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is an asset
- Proficient in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Teams is an asset
- Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, Clarity (CA PPM), ServiceNow is an asset
- Self-driven, able to move tasks & requests forward independently and with personal accountability
- Team player and excellent collaborator, able to both lead & participate to develop solutions with strong customer focus
- Detailed orientated, organized and resourceful
- Adaptive and Agile, able to rapidly pivot your efforts between multiple priorities as business needs change to provide value to our customers
