Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Investment Analyst to support the continuous growth of Athene's investment portfolio. Accountabilities: - Support the financial investment and derivative analysis on a U.S. GAAP and Bermuda Statutory basis of operating results, balance sheets and other key performance indicators.
- Support U.S. GAAP, and Bermuda Statutory investment and derivative financial documents, footnotes and supporting schedules for standalone reporting entities.
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement projects and challenge current processes within the team.
- Respond to Investor questions.
- Build and foster close relationships with Apollo, ISG, Investment Accounting and Financial Reporting.
Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- CFA designation, or progress towards completion of the CFA designation, desired.
- Knowledge specifically in investments and/or derivative instruments is required and the applicable accounting guidance is preferred.
- Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory financial accounting regulations required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required and experience in transposing large data sets.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust quickly in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to change priorities to meet critical deadlines.
