What you will do:

The Product Delivery Lead bridges Product and Engineering, helping convert established priorities into organized, delivery-ready plans and maintaining clear visibility from planning through release. Combining Scrum Master duties with delivery coordination and backlog administration, this individual contributor role ensures operational accountability and clear execution progress. This role does not manage people, define product strategy, make technical decisions, or commit to delivery dates; those responsibilities remain with Product and Engineering leadership.

Requirements

We want you to succeed, so you will need:

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and key delivery ceremonies across product teams.
• Help teams maintain a healthy, consistent, and effective agile delivery process.
• Facilitate regular backlog refinement sessions, partnering with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to ensure upcoming work has sufficient context, scope, acceptance criteria, estimates, dependencies, and sequencing. 
• Identify delivery risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies, actively driving them toward resolution.
• Coordinate delivery planning and ongoing communication across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate dependencies, sequencing, and delivery across multiple product teams and portfolio initiatives.
• Ensure prioritized work is sufficiently defined, organized, and delivery-ready before entering execution.
• Maintain backlog cleanliness and structure in Jira, ensuring accurate status, ownership, and links between work items.
• Support Product Managers in maintaining backlog readiness while ensuring product strategy, prioritization, and feature requirements stay with the Product Manager.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to align planned work with available team capacity and surface conflicts, overcommitments, or resource constraints early.
• Maintain the administrative accuracy of the product roadmap, keeping status, timing, ownership, dependencies, and supporting Jira links updated.
• Support the transition from current roadmap tools and processes to Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Jira Product Discovery, or other selected solutions, including current-state assessment, structure and workflow design, data preparation and migration, configuration support, process documentation, and ongoing administration.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define how objectives, initiatives, epics, dependencies, capacity, and delivery status should be structured, connected, maintained, and reported within the selected roadmap tools.
• Maintain current delivery forecasts and proactively communicate material changes to scope, timing, dependencies, or delivery confidence.
• Coordinate release readiness across Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales Marketing, GTM and other affected teams, ensuring owners, dependencies, communications and launch activities are aligned and tracked.
• Provide consistent, reliable delivery-status reporting to Product, Engineering, and leadership teams.
• Track action items, decisions, owners, and due dates, following up diligently to ensure commitments are fulfilled.
• Help establish standardized delivery terminology, metrics, and practices to improve predictability without treating metrics as the primary goal.
• Use retrospectives, delivery data, and team feedback to identify systemic delivery issues and lead practical process improvements.

Nice to have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or similar coordination role in a software product organization.
• Strong track record of supporting multiple cross-functional teams and navigating distributed or global work environments.
• Demonstrated experience improving backlog quality and delivery predictability in an evolving or inconsistently structured environment. 
• Experience helping implement, configure, migrate to, or administer Jira-based product planning and roadmap tools within a software product organization.
• Experience coordinating software releases and cross-functional release or launch readiness.
• Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP) are preferred

Salary range: $107,000 to $130,000 per year

We publish a salary range to provide transparency and represent the full growth potential of the role; as a result, offers are made based on demonstrated mastery and experience and generally fall near the midpoint.
