College and Career Coach

Mother Teresa Middle School (MTMS) is seeking a relationship-focused College and Career Coach to join our Graduate Support Team. This position will support students as they transition through high school, post-secondary education and into employment.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is energized by building trusted relationships, helping young people overcome barriers, and connecting students with the people, programs and resources they need to succeed. This is a full-time 12 month permanent position.

As College and Career Coach, you will:

- Help students explore post-secondary pathways, including university, college, trades, apprenticeship and certificate programs.

- Provide individualized coaching, mentorship and advocacy as young people work toward their education, career and employment goals.

- Identify and help students access scholarships, band funding and other financial supports.

- Support resume development, interview preparation, job-search strategies and workplace-readiness skills.

- Connect students with employment opportunities, employers, professional networks and community resources.

- Maintain regular contact with students and graduates to monitor progress and provide ongoing encouragement and support.

- Maintain accurate and confidential records and contribute to Graduate Support Program reporting.
