Navacord is looking for a Senior Underwriter with a minimum of 10 years in Property & Casualty insurance. In this pivotal role, you'll assess and price risks, analyze insurance applications, and make strategic underwriting decisions. Your mentorship will shape the next generation of underwriters while you contribute to portfolio growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal Property & Casualty business
- Analyze complex risks to make informed underwriting decisions
- Review applications to provide customized insurance solutions
- Manage policies and exercise underwriting authority
- Build strong relationships with brokers and clients
- 10+ years in Property & Casualty insurance
- Broker Level 2 license or equivalent required
- CIP designation or ongoing progress preferred
- Strong knowledge of underwriting principles and regulations
- Excellent communication skills and strong leadership abilities
