Dining Room Lead (FT

SUMMARY: A working supervisor responsible for ensuring consistent delivery of our food and beverage standards in an efficient and timely manner.

Schedule:

7AM - 3PM - Saturday and Sunday
7AM - 2PM - Thursday and Friday
Job is approximately 12 months and can be extended depending on the need

Qualifications:

Previous experience of food and beverage in an upscale hotel or restaurant.
Knowledge of proper service standards; order taking, upselling, condiments etc.
Knowledge of food items that would reasonably be found on present and future menus.
Experience of supervising a team or 4 or more people.
Experience with Squirrel or similar Point of Sale system.
Ability to communicate policies and set the example in following.
Able to work in a standing position, walking for the majority of the shift.
Able to lift 30lbs comfortably.
Professional, courteous and customer service oriented.
Able to work with minimal supervision.

General Duties to include:

Actively supporting Dining Room Servers throughout each shift to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience.
Setting the standard in excellent customer service.
Checking guest satisfaction and general service standards.
Performing positive contacts and coaching; discipline will be carried out by the manager.
Directing team to complete cleaning and setup work within required time lines.
Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the workspace.
Handling emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
Communicating with the Food and Beverage managers.
Ordering, organizing and distributing products, as required.
Other duties as reasonably assigned by management.
