Manager, Quality Assurance

Cencora seeks a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead a team of senior specialists while managing regulatory compliance, drug product releases, and quality documentation for Canadian pharmaceutical operations. The role combines people leadership with hands-on involvement in complex quality and compliance deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor senior QA specialists on daily work assignments and compliance priorities
- Maintain Drug Establishment Licences and manage foreign site approval activities
- Oversee release of commercial drug products and clinical trial supplies to Canadian market
- Review and maintain quality documentation including SOPs, stability reports, and validation protocols
- Provide expert consultation to clients on quality risks, impacts, and compliant solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and developing QA or quality-focused teams
- Deep knowledge of Health Canada pharmaceutical regulations and Drug Establishment Licence requirements
- Expertise in GMP quality systems, product release procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder relationship management skills
- Experience with quality documentation, deviations, CAPA, and audit management
- Ability to balance multiple projects and competing client demands effectively
