Hybrid Underwriting Specialist at Sovereign

This Underwriting Specialist role at Sovereign Insurance requires more than ten years in senior underwriting positions. You’ll manage delegated authority contracts and engage with new business opportunities, ensuring financial soundness and compliance with guidelines. Your efforts will drive profitability and strategic development. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee delegated authority portfolios and evaluate risks
- Implement premium rates based on data and market insights
- Address complex account referrals in line with underwriting intent
- Conduct audits and improve partner performance outcomes
- Build and maintain strong delegated authority partnerships
- Minimum 10 years of insurance experience in underwriting
- 2-3 years in corporate/national underwriting exposure
- Bilingual in French and English is a plus
- CIP and/or CRM preferred qualifications
- Expertise in relationship-building with stakeholders
