Yellowhead Koinonia Christian School (YKCS) is seeking a Full-time Elementary Teacher (class size of 15 students) to start on August 25, 2025, for the 2025/2026 school year, with the possibility of extending for future years. YKCS is committed to cultivating the faith of students so that they will be able to live in the fullness of life before God according to His will for them . We are in Edson, AB, 200 km West of Edmonton and an hour from the beautiful Rocky Mountains. We are surrounded by vast forests, many of which are home to numerous lakes and rivers, offering a wealth of recreational opportunities.

- Clearly defined and well-thought-out assessment beliefs.
- Prepared to collaborate with other teachers and support staff as a member of a professional learning community.
- Have strong, positive people skills.
- Instruct students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and field trips.
- Design effective strategies to meet the children's diverse learning needs.
- Effective communication skills.
- Have a Bachelor of Education degree.
- Hold (or be eligible for) a valid Alberta teaching certificate.
- Have a passion for Christian Education
- Applicants must be Canadian citizens or be currently eligible to work and teach in Canada.

- Salary: Ranging from $60,000- $95000 based on education and experience
