Lead SEO and Generative Engine Optimization at Manulife in Toronto through a hybrid role spanning content, technology, publishing, and delivery.The Global GEO Manager supports Manulife’s Global Digital Marketing team and operates within Global SEO strategy, standards, and governance. This manager identifies search opportunities, assesses risks, and develops evidence-based recommendations. The role partners with content, UX, product, publishing, technology, analytics, marketing, and market teams to implement improvements across enterprise digital experiences.Key Responsibilities:
Identify sitewide SEO and GEO opportunities across content and platformsAssess initiatives and recommend standards-aligned search solutionsValidate metadata, headings, schema, linking, and indexation controlsCoordinate remediation and escalate material implementation risksMonitor performance and communicate actionable optimization insightsRequirements:
Approximately eight to ten years of progressive SEO experienceHands-on technical, on-page, content, architecture, and publishing experienceKnowledge of crawling, indexing, schema, canonicalization, and redirectsContent management systems experience;
Adobe Experience Manager is an assetStrong stakeholder management, documentation, communication, and issue-resolution skillsBring enterprise SEO, GEO, publishing quality assurance, and cross-functional leadership to Manulife’s hybrid Toronto marketing team.
