Join Generations Toronto as a Registered Practical Nurse, delivering essential nursing care in a full-time role. Collaborate with the health care team and lead Personal Support Workers to ensure quality resident care. This full-time position offers an opportunity for a Registered Practical Nurse to work within a supportive intergenerational community. You will implement AgeCare policies, liaise with physicians, and provide direction to Personal Support Workers. Your nursing expertise in geriatric or long-term care will play a vital role in meeting residents’ needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement AgeCare policies and procedures on the unit
- Liaise with physicians and health care team members
- Notify physician of changing resident statuses
- Provide direction to Personal Support Workers
- Participate in shift reports with the health care team
- Current Certificate of Competence from Ontario's College of Nurses
- Knowledge of relevant nursing acts and regulations
- Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards
- Experience within rehabilitation or nursing administration
