Job Description
The company is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee ongoing industrial construction at an active plant near Kingston. In this oversight role, you will act as the owner’s on‑site liaison—coordinating between engineering teams and contractors—to ensure all work is executed safely, to specification, and in compliance with contracts and permits. This position is purely managerial; no hands‑on construction or maintenance duties are required.
Key Responsibilities•Serve as the owner’s representative on site, safeguarding their interests
•Monitor contractor activities for safety, quality and contractual compliance
•Oversee permitting processes and maintain all project documentation
•Proactively identify and communicate risks or issues to the owner Qualifications
•12+ years’ experience in industrial and/or heavy commercial construction
•Prior experience at industrial plants is an asset
•Excellent communication and proficiency in Microsoft Office
•Ability to navigate and influence within large corporate environments
•OSHA 30 certification (required)
•Must reside locally (per diem not available) Compensation & Benefits
