About The Opportunity

We are building a talent pipeline for upcoming Human Resources contract opportunities with our clients in Ottawa. While there is no immediate opening at this time, qualified candidates are encouraged to express interest in future roles supporting a range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, labour relations, HR administration, policy support, and people operations. These opportunities may be well suited to HR professionals at various levels, from those with foundational experience to more established HR practitioners, depending on the needs of each assignment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supporting day-to-day HR administration, including employee records, documentation, and file maintenance
• Assisting with recruitment activities such as job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, and onboarding support
• Responding to employee and manager inquiries related to HR processes, policies, and programs
• Preparing HR correspondence, reports, letters, templates, and other documentation as required
• Maintaining accurate information in HR systems, spreadsheets, and tracking tools
• Supporting onboarding, offboarding, orientation, and employee life-cycle administration
• Assisting with HR projects and initiatives related to employee engagement, training, compliance, or policy updates
• Providing general administrative support to the HR team and performing other related duties as required

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in human resources, recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, labour relations, or a related support function
• CHRP or CHRL designation considered a strong asset
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a professional and service-oriented approach
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS, ATS, or other HR systems would be considered an asset
• The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Bilingualism in English and French would be considered an asset

About the Job

This role would offer between $26.00 to $65.00 per hour, depending on experience.
