Nanny Wanted - Growing Family Seeking A Development Oriented Nanny — $25+ Per Hour

We're a growing multi-cultural family looking for a nanny in Vancouver (Dunbar-Southlands)! If you are energetic, playful and good with setting boundaries for toddlers, we hope to be your next long-term employer. About us:

• We are a growing family of three with a bright and happy 2 year old daughter who loves books, arts and crafts, swimming, ballet, and playing outdoors
• My husband and I both work from home but travel intermittently for work
• We live walking distance from a playground and a huge park

What we're looking for:

• Afternoon support (e.g. daycare pick-up and age-appropriate development activities) for a 2 year old, between 3:00pm and 7:00pm, 3-5 days a week (flexible)
• Optional morning daycare drop off for additional hours (~8-9am)
• Occasional full-day support (based on your availability) during school breaks and Professional Days
• Available to start between now and July
• Able to commit for 9-12 months
• BC driver's license and clean driving record; comfortable driving in Vancouver
• CPR / First Aid certified
• Vaccines up to date (MMR, tDAP, COVID-19, Flu)
• At least 1.5 years experience working with toddlers as a nanny or in a professional capacity
• Ability to work in Canada (working holiday permit, PR, etc.)

Bonus qualifications that would cumulatively increase the offered rate:

• ECE certification or Montessori AMI training
• Second language such as French, Japanese, Cantonese or Spanish
• Comfortable with caring for infants. We are expecting a new baby in October 2026. If things are feeling good at that time, we would be glad to increase your hours and wage to help with the baby as well.
