Pals Geomatics Corp. is a Professional Alberta Land Surveying firm that has been in business since 1983. As a multi-discipline firm of over 90 employees, including 5 Alberta Land Surveyors and 2 Canada Land Surveyors, we have dedicated most of our efforts serving the municipal, construction, resource development and housing sectors.
OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Temporary Receptionist to support our team in delivering exceptional service. This position is responsible for providing main reception duties, in addition to providing general administrative support to other departments as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, sort, and stamp incoming mail and courier deliveries.
- Prepare outgoing mail and courier deliveries/pick-ups.
- Record daily courier activities.
- Ensure all the appropriate evacuation procedures are carried out, in the event of an emergency.
- Answer incoming calls, direct calls, take messages, and provide information as required.
- Welcome visitors and clients.
- Preparation of documents as requested.
- Process payments.
- Scan incoming documents and mail.
- Monitor and forward e-mails from the general email account.
- Maintain visitor check-in.
- Other data entry and administrative duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.
- 2+ years of office experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
