Overview

We have an exciting contract opportunity to join a global client as a  Senior / Intermediate  Piping Designer .

Responsibilities

• Develop original layouts and designs for process equipment modules used in oil and gas processing facilities.
• Create and model detailed piping system designs.
• Design structural steel skids and pipe support systems.
• Revise existing designs based on vendor drawings and stress analysis updates.
• Prepare piping layout drawings and detailed design documentation.
• Develop and maintain 3D models for piping and equipment layouts.
• Produce piping isometric drawings.
• Generate structural and fabrication drawings.
• Organize and manage design data and vendor information.
• Perform material take-offs, calculate piping components, and support pre-ordering of materials.
• Coordinate design inputs from engineering disciplines and other project stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with piping checkers, mechanical engineers, and fabrication teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering Design Drafting Technology (EDDT) or an equivalent combination of training and relevant piping design experience.
