We have partnered with a public accounting firm in Toronto to provide them with an Bookkeeper. You must have CPA Firm experience.

Responsibilities of the Senior Bookkeeper:

• Seeking an experienced bookkeeper with strong accounting skills to provide write-up services on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis to a variety of firm clients as needed. This include accounts payable/receivable, recording all banking transactions, creating the trial balance as well as all required closing and adjustment journal entries (and financial statements)

Requirements of the Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper:

• 4 plus years of accounting/bookkeeping experience in a public firm or accounting service company
• Bachelors degree in accounting (asset)
• Quickbooks Expert
• Strong client-facing skills - must have the ability to work independently with clients
• Payroll experience
• Corporate and personal tax preparation
• Experience in preparing business and individual tax returns
• T5, T4 preparation
• Payroll processing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
