Java Software Engineer Mississauga

About the Role
The Java Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust applications, focusing on programming in Java, API development, and cloud engineering.
Responsibilities
- Hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs using popular frameworks like Spring
- Experience with Oracle, SQL, NoSQL - MongoDB
- Experience with Cloud – OpenShift, Kubernetes, Messaging systems - MQ, Kafka
- Experience following clean code principles
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Experience with RESTful APIs and frameworks like Spring
- Database management with Oracle, SQL, and NoSQL
- Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes and messaging systems
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React
