Elevate application performance as an AppDynamics Engineer in a hybrid role located in Mississauga, ON. This contract position focuses on configuration, monitoring, and optimizing the APM platform. Our client seeks a skilled APM Engineer to enhance their application development team. You will configure, maintain, and monitor services for the AppDynamics platform, emphasizing efficiency and automation. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure services are high-performing and stable. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish best practices for monitoring the APM platform
- Foster open development lifecycle standards
- Implement security policies for deployed applications
- Create custom dashboards and monitoring tools
- Analyze application performance issues with development teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Minimum 4 years as an AppDynamics APM engineer
- Proficient in Java and .NET technologies
- 2 years of Linux scripting experience
- Strong understanding of software deployment in cloud and on-premises
