In this pivotal role, you will guide the development of Android OS on custom hardware, integrating kernel modules and enhancing device functionality. You’ll utilize your hands-on skills while contributing to Android version upgrades and resource optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customize and develop Android platform components for specific devices
• Build and maintain Android GKI and Linux kernel configurations
• Design and debug complex device drivers for peripherals
• Integrate Board Support Packages and hardware abstraction layers
• Support system upgrades, code reviews, and mentoring sessions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related
• 5+ years in embedded Linux development and kernel work
• Proficient in C, C++, and relevant scripting languages
• Deep knowledge of Android internals and GKI concepts
• Experience with source control and CI/CD environments
Lead and innovate as you shape embedded systems and enhance performance across products.
