Gastroenterology Medical Science Liaison

Join AbbVie as a Medical Science Liaison specializing in gastroenterology with a focus on delivering innovative health solutions. This 12-month maternity leave contract offers you the chance to engage with healthcare professionals and external experts. As a Medical Science Liaison in AbbVie's Medical Affairs team, you will build and nurture relationships while advancing the scientific credibility you bring to healthcare professionals and stakeholders. Utilizing your knowledge in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, you'll provide essential scientific information and support medical projects across the gastroenterology therapeutic area. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scientific knowledge for credible information dissemination
- Participate in investigator-initiated studies and clinical projects
- Provide scientific support to external experts and academic centers
- Deliver compelling presentations on scientific matters
- Attend scientific meetings and summarize key data presented
- PhD, PharmD, or MD is required
- Previous MSL experience preferred
- Gastroenterology background is a plus
- Customer-facing role experience in healthcare
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
