Join AbbVie as a Medical Science Liaison in Gastroenterology. This maternity leave replacement role requires a PhD, PharmD, or MD with expertise in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. This position at AbbVie Canada offers a 12-month contract focusing on developing relationships with healthcare professionals and key external experts. You will provide scientific support, engage in clinical studies, and deliver presentations to enhance understanding of gastroenterology. Attend relevant scientific meetings to remain at the forefront of research and industry developments. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop crucial scientific knowledge for effective communication
- Participate in investigator-initiated studies and clinical projects
- Provide support and maintain expert relationships in gastroenterology
- Present scientific data to healthcare professionals clearly
- Identify qualified healthcare professionals for collaborations
- PhD, PharmD, or MD required
- Experience as a Medical Science Liaison preferred
- Background in gastroenterology considered an asset
- Proven presentation skills in scientific research
- 50% travel required with valid driver’s license
