  The Role <\/span><\/b>
  <\/p>

  As the Senior Civil Project Manager, you will oversee the successful
  execution of complex heavy civil infrastructure projects while managing project
  teams, client relationships, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and overall
  project performance. <\/span>
  <\/p>

  You will work closely with Superintendents, Project Coordinators,
  Estimators, consultants, municipalities, and executive leadership to ensure
  projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with contractual
  and operational objectives. <\/span>
  <\/p>

  This role requires strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and
  deep technical understanding of heavy civil construction operations. <\/span>
  <\/p>

  Key Responsibilities <\/span><\/b>
  <\/p>

  • Lead the overall execution of
    heavy civil infrastructure projects from pre -construction through
    completion <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage project schedules,
    budgets, forecasting, and cost control activities <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Oversee Project Coordinators,
    Superintendents, subcontractors, and project support teams <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain strong client,
    consultant, and municipal relationships throughout project delivery <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate procurement,
    subcontractor management, and construction planning activities <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Monitor project progress and
    proactively resolve operational and commercial issues <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with contract
    requirements, specifications, and project milestones <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Lead project meetings, progress
    reviews, and reporting activities <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support tender reviews,
    budgeting, change management, and risk mitigation initiatives <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate closely with
    executive leadership and operations teams on project strategy and
    execution <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure strong health & safety
    performance across all project activities <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Mentor and support the
    development of junior project staff <\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Who You Are <\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • 10+ years of Project Management
      experience within heavy civil or municipal infrastructure construction <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong experience managing
      projects involving: <\/span>
      <\/li>
      • Sewer & watermain <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Underground utilities <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Road construction <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Deep excavation <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Earthworks and grading <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Municipal and transportation
        infrastructure projects <\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
      • Proven ability to manage complex,
        multi -phase infrastructure assignments <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strong understanding of
        construction contracts, scheduling, forecasting, and cost management <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Excellent leadership,
        communication, and problem -solving abilities <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Experience managing
        subcontractors, consultants, and client relationships <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strong organizational and
        operational management skills <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Proficient with project
        management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Engineering, Construction
        Management, or related technical education is considered an asset <\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Experience working with public
        sector or municipal infrastructure clients is highly desirable <\/span>
