Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Funds Development Manager leads Selkirk First Nation's external funding and partnership development efforts. Working collaboratively across all departments, this position identifies funding opportunities, prepares grant and proposal submissions, builds strategic partnerships, and supports reporting and project implementation to advance the Nation's strategic priorities.

Qualifications
Applicants will possess:

• A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economic Development, Communications, Indigenous Governance, Non-Profit Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in grant writing, proposal development, funds development, economic development, project management, or government relations.
• Demonstrated success securing grants, contribution funding, or strategic partnerships.
• Excellent research, writing, project management, communication, and relationship building skills.
• Experience working with First Nations, Indigenous organizations, non-profit organizations, or the public sector is considered an asset.
