Production Planner, Supply Chain Planning

Production Planner role supporting global clinical supply operations for AstraZeneca's radiopharmaceutical division in Hamilton. Coordinates manufacturing schedules across internal sites and contract manufacturers, maintains planning systems, and ensures timely delivery of investigational medicinal products while ensuring GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient dose scheduling and manufacturing operations with clinical supply team, CMOs, and internal sites
• Prepare and distribute weekly manufacturing demand reports to align operations across internal and external partners
• Maintain accurate data in planning systems, perform audits, and ensure schedule visibility and reporting reliability
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for departmental processes with GxP compliance
• Act as liaison between supply chain, quality assurance, and manufacturing to resolve scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, life sciences, or related field
• 2–3 years production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research
• Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data management tools including Excel and SharePoint
• Familiarity with GMP and Standard Operating Procedures in regulated manufacturing environments
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional stakeholder communication ability
• Flexibility to accommodate global time zone requirements

Compensation: $71,379.20–$93,685.20 CAD base per year
