YouthLink Live-In Treatment Night Worker

Capitalize on your skills as a YouthLink Live-In Treatment Night Worker, providing critical overnight support to youth in need. This role emphasizes safety, therapeutic engagement, and crisis intervention while working in a supportive environment. This part-time position encompasses 45 hours bi-weekly, from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, focusing on female-identified and gender-fluid youth aged 14-18. You will be integral in maintaining a safe environment and ensuring continuity of care through direct engagement and observation. Your approach will be grounded in equity-based, trauma-informed practices to address complex needs. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver therapeutic engagement during overnight hours
Oversee youth routines, including hygiene and safety checks
Document incidents, medication tracking, and observations
Facilitate calming activities and support crisis situations
Collaborate with clinical staff for effective case management

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant care setting
Education in Child and Youth Work or related fields
Strong understanding of youth mental health issues
Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
