Position Description
CGI is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our growing Salesforce practice. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that support critical business initiatives. Working closely with solution architects, product owners, project managers, Salesforce administrators, developers, vendors, and client stakeholders, you will build enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, AppExchange products, and modern Salesforce technologies.

You will play a key role in translating business requirements into technical solutions while contributing to application architecture, integrations, security, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for a Salesforce professional who enjoys combining hands-on development with technical leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in one of CGI's Atlantic Canada offices, including Halifax, NS; Moncton or Fredericton, NB; St. John's, NL; or Stratford, PEI. Candidates must be currently located in Atlantic Canada or willing to relocate. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring three days per week onsite.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Design, develop, configure, test, and support Salesforce solutions using modern development and configuration practices.
• Develop scalable applications using Salesforce Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Flows, and AppExchange solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, project managers, administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform technical analysis and recommend scalable, maintainable Salesforce solution designs.
• Design and document Salesforce data models, business processes, security models, user interfaces, and integration patterns.
• Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications using APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.
• Support code reviews, testing, deployment activities, troubleshooting, production support, and release readiness.
• Promote development standards, best practices, and continuous improvement across the Salesforce delivery team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, estimation, and solution design discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Active Salesforce certification(s), such as Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II or equivalent.
• Experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Flows.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using REST APIs, SOAP web services, or other integration technologies.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, security, data models, and development best practices.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Assets
The following qualifications would be considered assets:
• Experience within the insurance, agency, or brokerage industry.
• Experience implementing Salesforce solutions supporting retirement or wealth management services, including 401(k), 403(b), IRA, enrollment, contributions, rollovers, loans, distributions, and integrations with recordkeepers, custodians, or payroll providers.
• Familiarity with ERISA, fiduciary requirements, regulatory compliance, secure data models, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement).
• Experience with Flosum or similar Salesforce DevOps and release management tools.
• Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000–$125,000 CAD. This role is an existing vacancy.
