Sales Team Lead - Sales Training & Development Focus Location: Dear Born Baby and Kids

We're now looking for a passionate and driven Sales Team Leader to lead our retail team—with a key focus on developing Sales Associates into confident, knowledgeable, and results-driven professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Training:

• Lead, coach, and inspire Sales Associates to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
• Develop and deliver structured training programs focused on sales techniques, customer engagement, and deep product knowledge.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, role plays, and product knowledge refreshers.
• Set clear expectations and provide constructive feedback to help team members grow in their roles.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement on the sales floor.

Customer Experience:

• Ensure every customer receives personalized and knowledgeable service, creating lasting impressions.
• Assist with complex customer inquiries and ensure resolutions exceed expectations.
• Lead by example—modeling professional, friendly, and consultative selling at all times.

Store Operations & Performance:

• Monitor daily and weekly sales performance, providing insight and coaching where needed.
• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of retail operations, including merchandising, inventory, and staff scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and visually appealing store environment.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and overall store readiness.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a retail sales environment, with proven success in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Passion for training, coaching, and developing others to excel in customer service and sales.
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques and customer service best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the baby industry is a plus, but not required—enthusiasm for learning is essential.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
