Pleasant Hill Place Program Staff- Casual

Quint Development Corporations Pleasant Hill Place is a 24-hour staffed transitional home for mothers and children working toward family reunification. Program Staff support residents in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment while helping them build parenting skills, stability, and independence.

Position: Permanent full-time, 40 hours per week.

Rotation: Friday and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.4:00 p.m.; Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 4:00 p.m.midnight.

Responsibilities:

Build trusting relationships and provide emotional support, guidance, and encouragement.
Monitor resident well-being and respond to safety concerns and emergencies.
Support daily activities, parenting, appointments, recreation, and resident programming.
Connect residents with community resources and outside supports.
Manage conflict and challenging situations calmly and professionally.
Document resident progress, interactions, and incidents.
Contribute to the cleaning, maintenance, and daily upkeep of the home.

Qualifications:

Experience supporting marginalized communities and parents.
Knowledge of diverse cultures, beliefs, and values.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with mediation and conflict resolution.
Post-secondary education in human services, equivalent experience, or a combination of both is an asset.
Valid SK Driver's License.
