Nanny Wanted - Looking For Part Time Family Helper / Evening Nanny

I’m a working mom looking for a warm, reliable and organized part-time family helper/evening nanny to become a consistent and trusted part of our family's weekly routine. I have two boys - one school-aged and one younger - and their schedules often overlap, particularly with school, daycare and sports. I'm looking for someone who can help with childcare, transportation and some of the everyday tasks that make a busy household run more smoothly. The Role: The primary responsibility will be caring for my younger son during weekday evenings, particularly when I need to take my older son to sports and activities. On some days, I may need to pick my older son up from school and take him directly to an activity. On those days, you would be responsible for picking my younger son up from daycare and bringing him home, so having your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence is required. There will also be opportunities for additional weekend hours for someone who is interested. These won't necessarily be required every weekend and can be arranged in advance based on availability. Weekend hours may include caring for my younger son during longer sports days, occasional daytime or evening childcare, or providing some extra support when needed. This could be ideal for someone looking for a consistent part-time position with the opportunity to pick up additional hours. Responsibilities May Include:

• Picking my younger son up from daycare
• Caring for him in our home
• Preparing or serving a simple dinner
• Playing, reading and spending time with him
• Bath, pajamas and bedtime routine
• Helping with lunches or snacks
• Light tidying of the kitchen and children's areas
• Folding and putting away children's laundry
• Occasionally helping with other small household tasks
• Helping with transportation for the children as needed
• Occasional weekend childcare

No heavy cleaning is expected. The focus is childcare, transportation and helping with the small day-to-day tasks that keep our family running smoothly. Requirements:

• Valid driver's licence
• Your own safe and reliable vehicle
• Comfortable transporting children
• Previous childcare experience
• Dependable and punctual
• Warm, patient and genuinely enjoys children
• Comfortable managing a young child's dinner and bedtime routine
• Organized, responsible and proactive
• Able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
• Minimum of two references, preferably including previous childcare references
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
• Willingness to provide proof of a valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance prior to beginning the position
