The Role:
Canco is seeking a focused and skilled Reconciliation Accountant to support the Finance team in settlement and reconciliation. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the company financial data by performing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciling dealer settlements between head office and sites in a timely manner
- Reconciling commission settlements between head off and sites in a timely manner
- Reconciling fleet collections and payments
- Reconciling loyalty collections and payment
- Reconciling Canco Xpress gift card program
- Analyzing settlement trends and reporting to management
- Maintaining relationships and communicate with sites
- Prepare monthly reporting on all settlement cycles
- Other duties as required.
What You Bring:
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
- Proven experience in settlement or reconciliation accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
