Dental Assistant (Experience Not Mandatory) at Markham Dental Office

Job Responsibility:

We are looking for a dental assistant to join our dental clinic located in Markham (Kennedy/Highway 7). The ideal candidate will should be comfortable learning some administrative and customer service tasks, have an excellent ability to multitask, and a positive attitude. Previous experience in dental assistant or dental reception is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be required to work Saturdays and late evenings.

Some Responsibilities Include:

• Assist the dental team with patient care, including passing instruments, sterilizing instruments, and preparing treatment rooms
• Greet patients and visitors to the dental clinic
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Verify patient insurance and collect payments
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in dental assisting and/or reception, especially in a dental clinic, is preferred but not required
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to learn
