ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Clinical Support Manager, the Visitor Assistant performs reception duties for Hogarth Riverview Manor, Thunder Bay Transitional Unit, and Willow Place.

WHAT YOU BRING

Education/Experience:

• Minimum grade 10 education required

Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrates proficient computer and typing skills
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, residents, families and the public
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Strong customer service skills and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Conditions of Employment:

• This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
• Demonstrates reliability and punctuality, with availability to work days, evenings and occasional weekends, as required
