Coach Canada is seeking an experienced and motivated 310T Team Lead Technician to join our Maintenance Team in Niagara Falls.

As the Team Lead Technician, you will provide technical leadership and day-to-day support within the shop while helping ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position is ideal for a licensed technician who enjoys mentoring others, coordinating workflow, and leading by example.
Team Lead Technician - Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain motorcoaches and commercial vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections.
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, HVAC, brakes, suspension, and steering components.
- Assist with coordinating daily shop workflow and prioritizing repairs.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to apprentices and junior technicians.
- Support training and development initiatives within the maintenance department.
- Review completed repairs and inspections to help ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Complete work orders accurately and provide updates on outstanding repairs.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices and Company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Work closely with the Assistant Maintenance Manager to support operational objectives and fleet availability targets.
- Ensure vehicles are returned to service in a safe, reliable, and roadworthy condition.
Team Lead Technician - Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licence.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (DZ Licence preferred).
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
- Experience performing commercial vehicle safety inspections.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and support shop productivity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with Fleet Focus, Samsara, Saucon, or similar maintenance systems is considered an asset.
- Ability to travel across the U.S. border.
- Must successfully comply with the Company's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
Safety-Sensitive Position

À titre de technicien principal, vous assurerez un leadership technique et un soutien quotidien au sein de l’atelier tout en veillant à ce que les travaux d’entretien soient effectués de façon sécuritaire, efficace et selon les normes les plus élevées. Ce poste convient parfaitement à un technicien licencié qui aime encadrer les autres, coordonner les travaux et montrer l’exemple.
Principales responsabilités – Technicien principal 310T
- Diagnostiquer, réparer et entretenir des autocars et des véhicules commerciaux.
- Effectuer l’entretien préventif et les inspections annuelles de sécurité.
- Diagnostiquer les problèmes liés aux moteurs diesel, systèmes électriques, systèmes CVCA (chauffage, ventilation et climatisation), freins, suspensions et directions.
- Participer à la coordination des activités quotidiennes de l’atelier et à l’établissement des priorités de réparation.
- Fournir de l’encadrement, du mentorat et un soutien technique aux apprentis et aux techniciens moins expérimentés.
- Soutenir les initiatives de formation et de perfectionnement au sein du département d’entretien.
- Vérifier les réparations et inspections complétées afin d’assurer le respect des normes de qualité.
- Remplir les bons de travail avec exactitude et fournir des mises à jour sur les réparations en cours.
- Promouvoir et appliquer les pratiques de travail sécuritaires ainsi que les politiques de l’entreprise.
- Maintenir un environnement de travail propre, organisé et professionnel.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le directeur adjoint de l’entretien afin d’atteindre les objectifs opérationnels et les cibles de disponibilité de la flotte.
- Veiller à ce que les véhicules soient remis en service dans un état sécuritaire, fiable et conforme aux exigences routières.
Qualifications – Technicien principal 310T
- Certificat valide de technicien(ne) d’entretien de camions et d’autocars 310T de l’Ontario.
- Permis de conduire valide de l’Ontario (permis DZ privilégié).
- Solides compétences en diagnostic, dépannage et réparation.
- Expérience dans la réalisation d’inspections de sécurité sur des véhicules commerciaux.
- Aptitudes démontrées en leadership, mentorat et accompagnement.
- Capacité à organiser le travail, établir les priorités et soutenir la productivité de l’atelier.
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en collaboration avec une équipe.
- Expérience avec Fleet Focus, Samsara, Saucon ou des systèmes de gestion de l’entretien similaires constitue un atout.
- Capacité à voyager aux États-Unis et à traverser la frontière américaine.
- Doit satisfaire aux exigences du programme de dépistage des drogues et de l’alcool de l’entreprise.
