Solution Architect – Operational Technology (OT)

Client Locations: Edmonton, AB / Calgary, AB / North York, ON

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Solution Architect with expertise in Operational Technology (OT) to design and maintain architecture solutions for industrial environments. The role focuses on OT architecture, industrial systems, and infrastructure design, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop OT architecture solutions for industrial environments.
• Define and maintain OT architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Ensure alignment between OT systems and enterprise IT architecture.
• Lead infrastructure design activities, including industrial networks, servers, and system integrations.
• Support the integration of industrial systems such as SCADA, DCS, PLC, MES, and IIoT platforms.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, IT, and cybersecurity teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure OT solutions meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to OT environments.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) Architecture .
• Experience with Industrial Systems and automation environments.
• Expertise in Infrastructure Design and system integration.
• Understanding of OT/IT convergence and industrial networking.
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications:

• TOGAF (Preferred)
• ISA/IEC Certifications (Good-to-have)
• OT/ICS Security Certifications (Preferred)
