Job Responsibility:
Cyclone Manufacturing (A Mubea Aviation Company) is a vertically integrated full-service provider of 3-5 axis machining, sheet metal fabrication, tube bending, welding and minor sub-assemblies of aerospace structural components to the largest aerospace companies such as Boeing, AIDC, Bombardier, Embraer, FACC, GE, IAI, Liebherr, Lockheed Martin, MHI, SAAB, Stelia, Spirit AeroSystems and Triumph Aerostructures. Our surface treatment and controlled processes are approved by the major OEMs such as Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, IAI and Lockheed Martin.
Cyclone is a privately owned company with over 750 highly skilled employees housed within six state-of-the-art facilities totaling 450,000 square feet in both Canada and Poland.
Position Overview:
The CNC Waterjet Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC waterjet cutting machines to fabricate and cut a variety of materials according to specifications. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to maintain high-quality production standards.
Duties:
- Production log is maintained accurately
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and setup sheets involved with each job to accurately execute cutting operations
- Operate waterjet cutting machines to produce precision parts
- Scan jobs in Microsoft Dynamics AX Software
- Start and stop the machine, load/feed the machine, and monitor machines operation. Monitor production to ensure quality and perform verifications and inspection of the product and the machine.
- Move and position metal sheets with the use of skids, forklift, crane as required
- Do scheduled maintenance on the waterjet
- Ensure jobs are completed according to schedule
- Communicate with other departments with regards to locating material
- Keep floor clean and water free, mopping when necessary
- Communicate major repair needs to maintenance department
- All other duties assigned by the Supervisor
