Job Responsibility:
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading when necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ license & clean driving record is essential.
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
- Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
