ABOUT THE TEAM
As part of the Finance and Administration division, the Accounts Receivable team, within the overall Financial Services department, is responsible to support staff, students and other stakeholders in regard to accounts receivable functions within the Polytech.  This would include analysis of outstanding accounts and follow up, payment plans, sponsorships, applying payments, balance inquiries, and collections.  The team collaborates with other internal departments, external funders, clients and government agencies to support and enhance the overall Polytech experience for students and various clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Account Administrator, Accounts Receivable, is responsible for analysis of client/vendor accounts to ensure financial information is accurate, dependable, and complies with audit requirements, college policies, guidelines and protocols; ensure that financial processes are provided accurately and timely and provide excellent customer service and dependable information to RRC’s clients. This position will also ensure financial integrity, reconcile cashiering and online  payment sessions, and perform processes that provide financial system integration required for daily, monthly and annual reconciliations of various assigned GL accounts.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Post-Secondary diploma with an accounting major; a combination of education and experience may be considered
• Experience in general accounting duties with the emphasis on accounts receivable in a large, computerized accounting system
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word and MS Teams)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within predetermined deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

• Salary Range for this position:  $49,595 - $69,838 per annum
• Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year.
