St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre is seeking permanent Full Time Registered Practical Nurses in our long term care centre. We offer a competitive salary range between $28.99 - $29.92. We offer HOOPP Pension plan and access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This position comes with benefits medical and dental benefits. We are currently offering a $25,000 CCPN commitment bonus paid by the ministry. Terms and conditions apply.
We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
Description
- Assist with assessment of residents needs and care planning. Promote and meet physical, psychological and spiritual needs of residents.
- Provide care for residents and all care procedures as defined by law for RPNs.
- Giving medication as required to residents and charting as necessary.
- Prepare quality assurance audits according to PMPs.
- Arrange for doctors appointments for residents.
- Assist with doctors visits, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or registered with a regulatory authority in a Canadian jurisdiction.
- CPR Certified.
- Must complete the provincially approved 52 hours post certificate course in medication administration.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
Salary: $28.99 - 29.92 per hour
