About us: Tacofino began as a food truck in the back of a surf shop in beautiful Tofino, British Columbia. We balanced surfing with creating world-inspired food with the best possible ingredients and serving it with love. We kept the spirit of where we came from alive and have since grown into a unique restaurant brand with locations across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island and continue to grow today.

About you: We are growing and have an opportunity for a great person who has a passion for making fantastic drinks and serving to join us as a Bartender / Server. You are savvy behind the bar, have fantastic customer experience skills and believe in being a positive part of an awesome team.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing great customer experiences through superior service
• Ensuring quality control of food
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Regular cleaning, running food/drink, checking in with guests
• Creating classic and new cocktails, pouring beer
• Ensuring we are making beverages in the specification to our quality standards
• Working within a team to ensure we are meeting service demands
• Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace
• Conducting inventory management, stocking the bar
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• 6+ months experience as a Server / Bartender in a high-volume casual environment
• Experience in delivering a strong customer service experience
• Possess excellent organizational skills and works well under pressure
• Knowledge of POS
• Personable, friendly and outgoing
• Possess high energy and strong work ethic
• Possess an eager willingness to learn
• Serving it Right
• Weekend availability is a must
