Dietary Department Manager in Food Services

Lead the Dietary Department at your facility as a Food Service Manager. Oversee menu planning and compliance with nutritional guidelines while working closely with nursing staff. In this role, reporting to the General Manager, you will manage the complete operations of the Dietary Department. Ideal candidates will possess a diploma in Culinary Management and Red Seal certification, along with three years experiencing in health care nutrition. Key skills include planning dietary programs, knowledge of Canada's Food Guide, and effective communication in both English and French. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a 5-week rotational menu
- Ensure compliance with therapeutic diets ordered by physicians
- Maintain detailed dietary records for residents
- Oversee cleanliness and sanitation in food handling
- Coordinate with Public Health inspectors during compliance checks
- Diploma in Culinary Management with Red Seal certification
- Minimum three years’ experience in health care
- Knowledge of HACCP and sanitation protocols
- Proficiency in MS Office and payroll software
- Bilingual in English and French
