These classes are delivered in a dryland gymnasium setting at G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre.

Requirements include completion of Grade 10; a minimum of three months’ experience leading camps, classes, or recreational programs; and related training or certification in sport instruction, early childhood recreation, or physical literacy programming. Emergency First Aid and CPR-C are required, and employment is subject to the provision of a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector (PIC-VS) dated within the last six months. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional ability, effective communication with children and parents, adaptability, and a commitment to providing safe, inclusive, and engaging recreation experiences.
