AI Prompt Engineering Developer

The Role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Software Developer with a strong understanding of AI-assisted development and prompt engineering. Ideally this person will have hands-on development experience and be knowledgeable in how AI technologies and prompt-based workflows can be leveraged to improve software development and business processes.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using modern programming languages.
• Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to support development and productivity initiatives.
• Create, refine, and optimize prompts for AI-powered development workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify opportunities for AI-enabled process improvements.
• Apply development best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support experimentation and adoption of emerging AI technologies within development

What We’re Looking For

• 4-5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming experience in one or more of:
• Python
• Java
• Node.js
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience working with AI tools, generative AI platforms, or prompt engineering concepts.
• Ability to effectively apply AI technologies to software development and operational activities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Bonus Points For

• Experience incorporating AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows.
• Familiarity with prompt design, optimization, and testing techniques.
• Understanding of how AI technologies can enhance developer productivity and automation.
• Experience working in agile development environments.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.

The base pay offered to selected candidates will be within the salary range and the placement will vary based upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.
