Lead Cook

The Role

We're looking for a detail driven, quality focused Lead Cook to join our corporate dining team. In this role, you'll help set the tone for our kitchen each day ? preparing fresh, consistent meals, supporting your team, and ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead Daily Production ? Prepare and oversee menu items with precision, ensuring recipes are followed and quality stays consistently high.
• Support Your Team ? Guide cooks during service, offer training, and help create a positive, professional kitchen environment.
• Engage With Guests ? Answer questions about ingredients, dietary needs, and preparation methods with confidence and care.
• Maintain a High Standard ? Uphold food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety practices at all times.
• Keep the Kitchen Running Smoothly ? Assist with shift coordination, break schedules, and workflow during busy periods.
• Manage Inventory ? Help maintain organized storage areas, monitor par levels, and participate in inventory tasks.
• Support Menu Execution ? Contribute to menu planning and bring forward ideas based on guest feedback and team strengths.

What You Bring

• Professional cooking experience in a high volume or corporate dining environment
• Culinary training from an accredited institution
• Leadership ability ? experience guiding or mentoring kitchen staff
• A positive, team focused attitude and pride in delivering great food
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail

Security Requirement

This position is located within a high security corporate facility. To meet mandatory federal background verification standards, candidates must have:

• Lived in Canada continuously for the past ten (10) years
• The ability to complete and pass a federal security clearance (typically 3?6 months)

A bonus is awarded for successful completion of the clearance process.
